Sweeto Burrito

Sweeto Burrito began in 2011 in North Dakota, as a food trailer for oil workers, and has since become a franchise with food trucks and static locations alike.
I have been to Sweeto Burrito on a number of occasions, and they're great!
I am a very picky foodie, and therefore greatly appreciate when a restaurant brings all of the right things to the table. (pun intended.)
I would like to express three points about them. Image, Food Quality, and Community.

Image:
I never knew about Sweeto Burrito until a location opened up on State Street in North Orem. Appearance-wise, the building seemed new and exciting. It had vivid colors, a good location on a quaint corner on a main road between cities, and it appeared as though it was a secret that nobody told me about. It seems very well branded, and though I had no clue what the imagery was for the first 4 visits, I soon realized that the markings on the building were a luchador's mask, and that "Professional Wrestling" was the Sweeto Burrito theme. Despite the trouble I had understanding the theme initially, I was drawn-in enough to give it a shot.

Food Quality:
At its most base level, Sweeto Burrito food in my mind is run-of-the mill ingredients, mixed together in a way that is unique enough to separate itself from other places in the Valley. I would compare the sweet pork to that of Costa Vida, sweet, but not complicated. That simple sweetness along with all of the other equally simple components make a great burrito. Altogether, the ingredients give a unique mix of flavors - so desirable as to put it up there (in my mind) with the great burritos of Cafe Rio. It's interesting to me that simple ingredients such as tater tots or ground beef can be made into a product that is good enough to keep me coming back.
I hold few reservations introducing my friends to Sweeto Burrito. I understand marketing ploys, and Public Relations within the Restaurant Industry, and don't convert on perceived image, or public approval alone. That being said, Sweeto Burrito's food, however simple, has won me over, and I can't get enough of it.

Community:

Knowing full well what it takes to run a restaurant, I can appreciate the quality of service as a very important cog in the organization. In order for the host/hostess to look me in the eye, and honestly desire that I enjoy the food, said employee must either be happy in their position, or content with working wherever they are. I have seen that at Sweeto. Friendships between employees are key to the happy atmosphere that must be maintained in a restaurant atmosphere. I have seen that at Sweeto. With no exceptions, I have not felt unwelcome at Sweeto when I visit.

I highly recommend Sweeto Burrito, and hope that when you see the food truck parked in front of The Scera, you'll pull over and grab a bite.
